As the City of Laguna Beach moves forward with the construction of the new Fire Station #4, the So Laguna Neighborhood Association is proud to support the City’s Cultural Arts Department in their search for a landmark public installation.
We are helping to spread the word to world-class artists and studios to ensure this new facility serves as a stunning visual gateway to our village.

Supporting the City’s: Call for Artists
The City of Laguna Beach Cultural Arts Department is currently seeking proposals for a permanent public art installation at the new Fire Station #4. With a $100,000 project budget, this is a significant opportunity for artists to contribute to the historic fabric of our city.
While the So Laguna Neighborhood Association is not managing the selection process, we are actively conducting outreach to ensure the highest caliber of talent is aware of this unique commission. We believe that robust participation from the global art community will result in a piece that truly honors the “South Laguna Village” aesthetic.
