Parking, Seating and Event Rules
Parking and trolley access
Parking around Heisler Park is limited and metered. Walking, biking or using the Laguna Beach trolley is recommended. The closest coastal trolley stop is near Cliff Drive and Jasmine Street.
Seating and what to bring
Bring a blanket or low-back beach chair so sightlines remain open for other guests. The amphitheater is outdoors, so a light layer may be helpful as temperatures cool after sunset.
Food and alcohol policy
Picnics are welcome. Alcohol is permitted only for guests age 21 or older and must be accompanied by a full meal. Solicitation is not permitted at City events.
Sustainability
Help keep Heisler Park and the coastline clean by bringing reusable bottles, utensils and containers and avoiding single-use plastics.

Pro-Tips for a Perfect Heisler Park Evening
To ensure the best experience and stay in compliance with City guidelines, keep these local tips in mind:
- Seating: The amphitheater fills up quickly. Low-back beach chairs are highly encouraged so everyone behind you can still enjoy the ocean view.
- Dining & Drinks: Alcohol is permitted for guests 21+ but must be accompanied by a full meal. Please remember that solicitation of any kind is prohibited at City events.
- Sustainability Matters: Laguna Beach is a leader in coastal protection. Please avoid single-use plastics and bring reusable water bottles and bags. Let’s keep our parks as clean as our coves.
- Skip the Parking Stress: Parking near Heisler Park is notoriously difficult in the evenings. We recommend taking the Free City Trolley or Laguna Locals Van. The nearest stop to the amphitheater is at the corner of Cliff Drive and Jasmine Street.
